Kratom Capsules in Canada: What the Count Actually Buys

Kratom capsules are the same milled leaf as powder, filled into gelatin or vegetarian shells. Nothing is added and nothing is concentrated. The difference is packaging, and the pricing unit changes from weight to capsule count.

Why kratom capsules cost more per gram

A capsule shell holds a small, fixed quantity of powder, commonly 0.5g or 1g depending on shell size. Encapsulation adds a manufacturing step, the shells themselves cost money, and the finished product is sold in counts rather than by weight. A 120-count listing at 0.5g per capsule contains roughly 60g of leaf. Compared against a 100g bag of the same strain, the per-gram figure is usually several times higher.

When a Canadian listing gives a capsule count without stating the fill weight, the per-gram cost cannot be calculated at all. That is the single most useful question to ask a vendor selling capsules.
